Craig Mackinlay is fighting for South Thanet
I'm not currently an MP, as Parliament has been dissolved until after the General Election.
I firmly believe that campaigning is the best way to get things done; I want to see improvements made for our area, as well as changes nationally. Locally I'm fighting for a regenerated Ramsgate, solutions to Sandwich's traffic chaos and better policing in Broadstairs. Nationally, I want to see pensioners protected, fishermen get a better deal and live animal exports banned. You can read about some of my current campaigns here.
I'm a local businessman and I know what it takes to create jobs. I have been fighting for Kent all of my life, and I've got a plan for more work and investment in our area. I also sit on the Brexit Select Committee and am determined to ensure that we secure the best possible exit deal for the British people. I will be releasing major papers on fishing policy after Brexit, as well as the impact of Britain's energy policy on household bills.
