The Work & Pensions Committee is appointed by the House of Commons to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Department for Work & Pensions, as well as matters falling within the responsibilities of associated public bodies.

Our pensions system is a vital yet encumbering component of British society and livelihood, which is why it is extremely important to be involved with its policy. As both a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser, I am very familiar with pensions and have so far been able to utilise a wide range of my skills and knowledge in exploring policy. My primary concern is in streamlining the currently bloated pensions system and making its delivery more efficient for the British public.
